About ChatSelfies
ChatSelfies is a small, independent site about one thing: helping you take selfies you actually like, with the phone already in your pocket.
What we cover
We publish five core guides, and we keep them up to date as phones and apps change:

We focus on things anyone can do in a few minutes: settings worth turning on, where to stand, how to hold the phone, how to edit without overdoing it, and how to fix the problems that come up again and again.
What makes our guides different
- Checked, dated menu paths. Phone menus move around with every update. We check settings paths against Apple, Google and Samsung's own help pages, link to them, and say when we checked.
- Original illustrations. Our diagrams are drawn for this site. They contain no photos of real people and no brand logos.
- No invented numbers. If we haven't verified a price, a feature or a policy, we don't publish it. Slider values and technique tips are labeled as starting points, not specs.
- Privacy first. We don't run ads or tracking scripts on this site, and our AI apps guide starts with privacy, not features.
A note on our history
ChatSelfies.com relaunched in October 2026 as a selfie and phone-photography guide. Pages from the earlier version of the site have been permanently removed.
