Affiliate and Advertising Disclosure
Short version: we may earn a commission from some links in the future, it will never change what we recommend, and we'll always tell you.
Right now
Our guides don't currently contain affiliate links or paid placements, and we don't run display ads.
If we add affiliate links
- Some links to apps or products may become affiliate links. If you buy or subscribe through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
- Pages with affiliate links will say so near the top, before the first link.
- Affiliate links are marked in our code with
rel="sponsored", as search engines ask. - We recommend free options, including your phone's built-in tools, whenever they do the job. A commission won't move a product up our list or change a score.
Sponsored content
We don't publish sponsored articles. If that ever changes, sponsored content will be clearly labeled as such at the top of the page.
